7. FIRMWARE UPDATE PROCEDURE (D-2012C ONLY)
Only when updating the D-2012C firmware ver. 2.0.0, follow the procedure below using the dedicated "D-
2012C Firmware Updater Software Program*."
* Included in the CD supplied with the D-2008SP firmware version 3.0.0 or later.
Note
When the D-2012C firmware version is 3.0.0 or later, update can be performed using the Setting software via
a LAN.
D-2012C firmware version can be checked in the connection setting in the Setting software. For details, refer
to the separate Software setting instruction.
Step 1. Connect both RS-232C ports of the D-2012C and the PC using a 9-pin straight through cable (male-
to-female cord).

Step 2. Insert the CD supplied with the D-2008SP into the PC's CD drive.
Step 3. Double-click "English - D2000_Software - d2012c _update _200 _to_300.exe" in the CD.
"D-2012C Firmware Updater software" activates.

The ComSetting screen appears.
