22.3 General
The General tab has the following fields:
22.3.1 File Name
It is possible to specify a file name to be attached to a mail message directly from the
Sendkey tab in the TCAttach32 window. Enter the file name in the File Name field to test a
new setup. The file will be deleted after it is attached.
22.3.2 Operation Mode Setup
The following three areas together form the command line which starts your mail program.
Start application
First the program then the general parameters and finally the user-dependent parameters are
put into the command line. Additional parameters are configured in the Sendkeys setup tab.
MAPI for MS-Mail Clients
Activate this option button to send with the MAPISENDMAIL function of the MAPI.DLL.
The following DLLs are needed for MS-Mail:
MAPI.DLL, AB.DLL, DEMILAYR.DLL, MAILMGR.DLL, VFORMS.DLL
MS-Mail needs the following entries in the WIN.INI file:
[Mail]
MAPI=1
The DLLs are part of the mail product and are installed automatically during the mail's setup
procedure.
The WIN.INI entries are also inserted automatically during setup of the mail program.
Script Language
First the program then the general parameters and finally the user-dependent parameters
from the ―Start Application‖ section are put into the ―$PROGPATH‖ variable. Additional
parameters are configured in the Script Editor. Further description of the script-feature later in
this chapter.
Use Mail
Check this check box if you want the red TopdeskPro triangle icon to appear on the caption
bar of your default mail program.
22.4 Sendkeys
Note: Sendkeys are no longer supported.
In this tab, you can define the sendkey parameters to start your mail program.
