9.
Remove the two screws that hold the lift shaft retain-
ing bracket, on each side of the frame, using a 3/8”
wrench. See Figure 8.32.
10.
Remove the four bolts that connect the drive shaft to
the hydro pump. See Figure 8.33.
11.
Carefully lift up on the drive shaft.
NOTE: If the drive shaft slips out of the front (engine) cou-
pling, the engine will have to be removed in order
to get the drive shaft rollers out of the blower hous-
ing.
12.
Line up the bottom hole of the drive shaft coupling
with the top hole of the hydro pump input coupling.
13.
Install one of the drive shaft bolts to hold the drive
shaft in place. See Figure 8.34.
