Advanced WLAN Settings
Follow these steps to change the radio settings of your router.
Editing Advanced Settings
1. Click on
WLAN Setup
(a/b/g)
from the
CONFIGURATION
menu.
2. Select
Advanced.

the
Beacon Interval
(the time lapse
between every beacon sent) to any
value between 200 and 1000.
It is preset as 200 seconds.
2. Set
the
Data Beacon Rate
from 1 to
16384.
This determines how often the beacon
should contain a
Delivery Traffic
Indication Message
(
DTIM
) that tells
power-save clients that a packet is
waiting for them.
3. Set
the
RTS/CTS Threshold
from 256 to
2346.
It is preset to 2346.
4. Set
the
Frag Threshold
from 256 to 2346.
It is preset to 2346.
5. Transmission Power Control (TPC) offers
the flexibility to set the
Transmit Power
.
(802.11h compliant)
It is set to Maximum by default, but
should be reduced if there is more than
one unit using the same channel
frequency.
It can be set from Minimum to
Maximum, 1dBm to 20dBm, in
increments or 1dBm per step.
