Installing the SAS Daughter Card
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You
should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not
covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with
the product.
1 Place the daughter card on the system-board assembly. See Figure 3-22
2 Replace the screws that secure the daughter card. See Figure 3-22.
3 Reconnect all the cables to the daughter card. Make sure the cable is
routed properly as shown in Figure 3-23.
4 Replace the system-board assembly. See "Installing a System-Board
