Description
Use this command to change the current global default sampling rate.
Usage
Guidelines
Sample-rate is the average number of packets skipped before the sample is taken. sFlow does not
have time-based sampling. If the value entered is not a correct power of 2, the command generates
an error message with the previous and next power-of-2 value. Select one of these two packet
numbers and re-enter the command.
Use the no sflow sample-rate command to return to the default sampling rate.
Examples
To change the sampling rate to 4096:
switch(config)#sFlow sample-rate 4096
