4. Release the upper latch and swing the drive mount
away from the meter.

Lift up, then back, and remove the meter.

While the meter is removed, take time to inspect the
meter drive chain
, idlers and drive sprocket ,
and perhaps perform the periodic chain lubrication.
Meter drive chain idlers are spring-loaded, and
require no adjustment for chain slack.
