3 Change fuses
Remove old fuses carefully from fuse holder 14
14 and replace
them with two new fuses which are suitable for the set mains
voltage, type TH (slow-blow, with high switching capacity):
115 V
4 A (TH)

4 Install fuse holder
Push fuse holder 14
14 back into the instrument until it clicks into
position.

Mains cable and mains connection
Mains cable
The instrument is supplied with one of three mains cables

6.2122.020 with plug SEV 12 (Switzerland,

6.2122.040 with plug CEE(7), VII (Germany,

)

6.2133.070 with plug NEMA 5-15 (USA,

)
which are three-cored and fitted with a plug with an earthing pin. If a
different plug has to be fitted, the yellow/green lead (IEC standard)
must be connected to protective earth (protection class 1).
Any break in the earthing inside or outside the instrument can make it
a hazard!
Mains connection
Plug the mains cable into mains connection plug 13
13 of the 763 PVC
Thermomat (see Fig. 3).
2.3.4
Switching the instrument on/off
The 763 PVC Thermomat is switched on and off using mains switch 12
12.
When the instrument is switched on, the mains pilot lamp 77 "ON" (see
Fig. 2) lights up.
