Vision requests that the user place the reference into position. The
calibration fixture shown below is used for this operation.
Be sure the probe ends are in the calibration
fixture as shown. Tighten the thumbscrews, and
cover the open area.
Click “OK”.
When the reference scan is finished, Vision
requests that the wavelength calibration
standard be placed into the calibration fixture.
Place the standard into the fixture as shown.
Close the cover to block ambient light.
Click “OK” when ready.
When the test is complete, a spectrum of the standard is shown in the upper right quadrant of the
screen. A tabular report is shown in the lower right quadrant, giving each peak, its nominal position
and its measured position. The difference from nominal peak position, and the repeatability of
wavelength peak positions are calculated.
