6.9 Absorber tube
The absorber tube requires maintenance if the check valve and the
absorber tube holder clog up due to sooting resulting from deflagration in
the combustion tube.
The absorber tube holder (6.2766.000) and the inlet valve (6.2824.170) in
the check valve must be exchanged.

Exchanging the inlet valve
1 Disconnecting the inlet capillary
Unscrew the pressure screw (6.2744.170) from the check valve.
2 Unscrewing the check valve holder
Unscrew the check valve holder (6.2766.010) from the absorber tube
holder.
3 Replacing the inlet valve
￭ Disassemble the check valve holder by unscrewing it.
￭ Remove the inlet valve.
￭ Insert the new inlet valve (see figure).
￭ Reassemble by screwing the parts of the check valve together.
