Temperature Units
This set of bits allows you to select one of these two formats:
• Degree C (default)
• Degree F
When the Thermocouple sensor type is set to mV or the RTD sensor type is set to
Ohms, the temperature unit field is not available.
Notch Filter
An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) filter that removes line noise in your
application for each channel.
Choose a notch filter that most closely matches the anticipated noise frequency
in your application. Remember that each filter time affects the response time of
your module. Also, the highest frequency notch filter settings also limit the
effective resolution of the channel.
The following notch filter values can be set per channel on the 1732E-IT4IM12R
Thermocouple module and module-wide on the 1732E-IR4IM12R RTD
module:
