8. Fastening the panel at the endlap is to be done with the use of a Cinch Strap. Cinch Straps are
required on all UL 580 Class 90 projects.
9. Use a hole punch to align the holes in the panels with the holes in the compression plate. Place a
Cinch Strap across the panel at the endlap so that the holes in the panels line up with the Cinch
Strap holes. Two hole punches will be needed and placed in the first and last hole prior to
fastening. Fasten the Cinch Strap, panels, and compression plate together with
five (5) #1/4-14 x 1 1/4" Self Driller XL screws.
