LENGTH - Minimum factory cut length is 5'-0" on panels. Maximum recommended panel length is
45'-0". Longer panels require additional consideration in packaging, shipping, and erection. Please
consult Metal Sales for recommendations.
There are three critical measurements involving roof panels: the length of overhang required at the
eave, the offset at the peak end, and the position of the panel endlap (if required). In each case a certain
measurement is required. Check each measurement to ensure panel placement gives you the distance
required at the eave, peak and endlap condition (if required). In most cases any variance can be taken
out at the eave and peak.
