Error Message Displayed
When a problem occurs with the FK-102, the following error messages are displayed in the
screen which appears by pressing COM. Take corrective actions by referring to the explanation. If
the document still cannot be sent properly even after attempting to correct the problem, please
contact a service representative.
Error Message Corrective Action
NG
An error has occurred during transmission. Although error page redialing
was attempted, the document was still unable to be sent. Resend the
page(s) displayed.
NG
Polling transmission was unable to be performed even though polling
instructions were received from a remote station. Is the machine ready for
polling transmission? If it is not, store the polling transmission original in
memory by referring to "Polled Transmission" (p. 8-2).
Busy
Although the set number of redials were attempted, the document was
unable to be sent due to the receiving machine being busy. Resend after
confirming the status of the receiving machine.
No Answer
This indicates a state in which the receiving machine is unable to receive.
Telephone the receiving remote station, confirm the status and then try
resending the document.
NG
An error has occurred during reception and the document was unable to be
received. Request the sending remote station to send the document again.
