Substitute Transmission
If there is an error with the machine while it is receiving a fax, documents can be transferred to
and output on another fax machine. The Substitute transmit can be set when the Fax Basic
screen is displayed, and operation has been interrupted as a result of the machine being out of
paper or paper being jammed in the machine.
1.
Press [CHECK] on the control panel.

Press Forward Tx.
3.
Enter the destination where the received document is to be
transferred by using the key pad and then press [START].
4.
Press BACK.
The setting confirmation mode menu will be restored.
To cancel an intercepted transfer, press [STOP/CLEAR]. Since the job currently being pro-
cessed will be displayed, press YES to cancel that job.
