The PC-Fax Rx set screen will be restored.

If you didn’t enter a password in step 7, the Check Password filed is grayed out.
The setting is changed and you return to the FAX Key Operator Mode screen.
Refer to (p. 10-5) to exit from the Key Operator mode.
The table below shows combinations of the functions and actions at PC-Fax reception.

By default, settings are set to save a received file in the Fixed Box. You have the option of
printing received file without saving it in any box. Ask your service representative about
this possibility.

1. Set the PC-Fax Rx settings as dis-
cussed previously.
2. Set the Confidential Tx settings. Type in a
four-digit number between 1000 and 1099 in
the Box No. field.
The recipient needs to type in a preset four-
digit password to access a received data.
3. Type in a recipient at the FAX Basic screen,
and press [START]. Transmission starts.
4. Receives transmitted data. Actions at
reception depend on the current settings
concerned. Refer to the table above.
