Setting up closed area reception
The closed area reception function can be enabled or disabled. Closed area reception means
that your FK-102 will receive the incoming data only when the sender's password is valid. The
FK-102 checks if the sender's password is equal to that defined for your FK-102. If the two pass-
words are different or the sender does not provide a password, a communication error results.
• Closed area Rx
:
ON/OFF*
* indicates factory default setting.
1.
Open the FAX Key Operator Mode (See "Entering Key Opera-
tor" (p. 10-2)).
2.
Press Function Set.
3.
Press Closed area Rx.
When the optional print controller is attached, the screen appears as above.
