Sending scanned data by E-mail (with digital signature)
Configure settings to send scanned data by E-mail with a digital signature.
Sending an E-mail with a digital signature enables you to prove that the E-mail has been sent from this ma-
chine and also to send a device certificate to the user. Using the obtained certificate (public key), the user
can send an encrypted E-mail to this machine.
If necessary, you can combine POP before SMTP authentication, APOP authentication, SMTP authentica-
tion, and SSL/TLS encryption to have a communication.
