Care and maintenance

If the clamping unit is dirty, clean it with a soft cloth.
Permitted cleaning agents are:
– soap suds (max. 60 °C)
– all non-abrasive agents.

Dismantling and repairs
Warning
Pre-stressed springs may expand suddenly when the unit is dismantled.

Make sure that the clamping unit is not dismantled. Please contact our after-
sales repairs service for maintenance and repairs to the clamping unit.
Dismantling
S
Make sure that the work load has reached a stable position (e.g. at the lowest
point if fitted in a vertical position).
S
Exhaust the clamping unit.
S
Do not modify the settings of screws and threaded pins if there is no request to
do this in these operating instructions.
In this way you can prevent damage to your clamping unit at a later stage.
