Shortcuts
Use Shortcuts for quick access to applications or features.
Adding Shortcuts from the Home screen
1. Navigate to a Home screen panel, then touch and hold on
the screen to display the Add to Home screen menu.
2. Touch Shortcuts, then touch a selection.
3. Follow the prompts to configure the Shortcut and add it to
the Home screen.
Power control: Control Wi Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS
connections, and set automatic synchronization and
brightness settings.
Program Monitor: Display the number of active
applications. Touch to launch Task Manager. For
more information, see “Task Manager” on page 10.
Traffic: Check the traffic conditions for a set
destination.
Y! Finance Clock: View information about your
selected stocks.
YouTube: Search YouTube and watch videos.
Applications: Launch an application. For a list, see
“Applications” on page 25.
Bookmark: Launch a bookmarked web page.
Contact: Link to a specific contact.
Direct dial: Automatically call a contact you specify.
Direct message: Create a message to a contact
you specify.
Directions & Navigation: Access directions and
navigation info to a favorite location.
Music playlist: Control playback for a saved playlist.
Settings: Link to a favorite or often-used setting.
