Error Messages
When the Tandem DDE Gateway encounters an error, an error message is displayed.

If the Tandem DDE Gateway is iconized when an error occurs, then the workstation
will beep and the Tandem DDE Gateway icon will flash.
The error message will be automatically cleared when your client application
successfully starts its next DDE conversation.
You can explicitly clear the error message one of two ways:
Manually, by using the Edit then Clear Error Message menu selections.
Programmatically from your client program, by using the DDE Execute function
with a CLEARERROR command.
