Interpreting the lights on the accessories
Use the following table to interpret the status light on tray 4, the optional 3,000-sheet stacker, the optional 3,000-sheet
stapler/stacker, and the optional multifunction finisher.
Light
Tray 4

Solid green
The accessory is on and ready.
The accessory is on and ready.
Blinking green
•
Tray 4 blinks green while lifting.
•
The accessory is in service mode.
The accessory is in service mode.
Solid amber
The accessory is experiencing a hardware
malfunction.
The accessory is experiencing a hardware
malfunction.
Blinking amber
•
The accessory has a jam, or a page needs
to be removed from the tray, even if the page
is not jammed.
•
The lower right door might be open.
•
The accessory has a jam, or a page needs to be
removed from the unit, even if the page is not
jammed.
•
The accessory is not correctly attached to the
printer.
Off
•
The printer might be in PowerSave mode.
Press any button.

The accessory is not receiving power.
