The embedded Web server has three tabs that contain MFP settings and information:

Information tab

The Information pages group consists of the following pages.

Device Status: Displays MFP status and shows the remaining life of HP supplies. Zero percent
(0%) indicates that a supply is empty. The page also displays the type and size of print media set
for each tray.

Configuration: Displays the network and product information found on the MFP Configuration
page, such as page counts, print settings, and paper options.

Supplies Status: Displays the remaining life of HP supplies. Zero percent (0%) indicates that a
supply is empty. This page also displays supplies part numbers. To order new supplies, click Order
Supplies
in the Other Links area on the left side of the window. Internet access is required to visit
any Web site.

Print Info Pages: Provides a remote way to print an internal page for a MFP.

Settings tab

This tab allows MFP configuration from a computer. The Settings tab can be password protected. If
this MFP is networked, always consult with the MFP administrator before changing settings on this tab.

The Settings tab contains these pages

Paper Handling: Configure paper handling settings from this page.

Printing: Configure the IO Timeout from this page.

Print Quality: Configure color calibration and optimize settings.

Print Density: Configure print density settings including contrast, highlights, midtones, and
shadows.

Paper Type Settings: Configure paper types

Print Modes: Configure print mode settings.

System Setup: Sets up system settings, including jam recovery, auto continue, display contrast,
and MFP language.

Service: Starts the cleaning mode and restores factory settings.

Password: Sets or changes the administrator password.
