HDLM can be installed on computers running the following operating systems:
Host OS support
The following versions of VMware vSphere ESXi are supported as an OS for
host computers:

Note:
In this manual, Windows running on a 32-bit processor is referred to as
x86, and Windows running on a 64-bit processor is referred to as x64.
A remote management client can run on a machine in the same LAN as the
host, or on a guest OS installed on the host itself.
