(for Exchange 2010/ Exchange 2013) HpRmCli Exch analyze -mdb
[-domain DomainName] [-inserv StoreServStorageSerialNo] [-sync [-f]]

DomainName] [-b backup vendor]
DESCRIPTION
The HpRmCli Exch analyze command analyzes the existing repository and lists any out-of-sync
virtual copies information between the repository and HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System.
PARAMETERS
The following options are supported:
•
(For Exchange 2010/ Exchange 2013)-mdb
mailbox database to analyze.
•
-domain Domain Name
. Optional - Domain name to which mailbox database belongs.
•
-inserv StoreServStorageSerialNo
. Optional - HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System
serial number. Recommended when more than one HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage Systems are
configured.
•
(For Exchange 2007)-s
the storage group belongs.
•
(For Exchange 2007)-g
virtual copy timestamp belongs.
•
-sync
. Optional - Syncs out of sync information and virtual volumes, VLUNs with user
confirmation. It automatically updates the repository to match system information.
If virtual copies are using an expiration-based policy, any out-of-sync expiration times are
updated to match the HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage System expiration time. If virtual copies
have a retention time set, any out-of-sync retention times are updated to match the HP 3PAR
StoreServ Storage System retention time.

-f
-. Optional. Valid with -sync to bypass user confirmation.
•
-domain
- Optional. Specifies the domain to which the Exchange server
or mailbox database belongs.
If this option is not specified, HP 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange uses the local domain.
•
-b
- Synchronizes backup based on the backup vendor specified. Only
NBU is supported.
NOTE:
Use quotes ("") for names that include spaces.
NOTE:
When multiple HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage Systems are configured on a single backup
server, for correct results use -inserv option.
