Appendix F: Using the DNS
Failover (DFO) Utility
The DNS Failover utility (
dfo.exe
) can be used in the failover and
failback scripts to delete and add host and reverse lookup entries so
that the source host name will resolve to the target IP address.
For example, the following command could be executed from a command line or included in a batch
file:
