Configuring Your System and Network

To set up user or group mapping:

In the Command View NAS web interface, click the Configuration tab.

Navigate down the tree to Mapping, then select User Mapping or Group

Mapping. A table displays the current mappings of Windows to UNIX

users/groups.

Select Actions > Add User Mapping Entries or Add Group Mapping

Entries.

In the Windows user or group domain section, select a domain from the

drop-down list, then select a user or group from the list.

In the UNIX user or group name section, select a user or group from the

drop-down list.

Click Add. Repeat steps 4-6 for all the users or groups you want to map.

Click OK.

To unmap an entry:

In the Command View NAS web interface, click the Configuration tab.

Navigate down the System Configuration tree to Mapping, then select

User Mapping or Group Mapping.

Select the entry you want to unmap.

Select Actions > Delete Selected User Mapping or Delete Selected Group

Mapping.

Click OK to unmap the entry.
