Showing zones
To display all the currently defined zones and their respective member chassis, enter SHOW ZONES.
For example:
myslapm> show zones
Zone BLUE:
Power Manager port 1:
all Dist. Module ports included
Zone RED:
Power Manager port 1:
Dist. Module port 2
myslapm>
Saving zones
To commit the defined zones and their member chassis to the on-board EEPROM, enter SAVE ZONES.
You can define and save up to four zones. These zones are automatically loaded from the EEPROM when the
board is reset.
Using the security override
If you forget your password, the SL-APM has an override switch to use. To activate this switch:
1.
Remove the SL-APM controller from the SL-APM enclosure.
2.
Locate the switches.
3.
Set switch 1 to ON.
4.
Reinsert the SL-APM controller into the SL-APM enclosure.
5.
Log into the SL-APM using the serial port because SSH and Telnet are disabled due to the password
override.
6.
You can either reset or disable the password.
