Determine whether your DIO card is DLA or FLA using the hpvmhwmgmt -l -p dio
command.

An Administrator must add the DIO cards to the hpvm pool and then label the cards with the
name of the network using the following commands:

hpvmhwmgmt -p dio -a 0/0/0/4/0/0/0
hpvmhwmgmt -p dio -m 0/0/0/4/0/0/0 —L

Any number of ports can be labeled with the same name. Each of these can be used for
different virtual servers.

NOTE:

Do not label two ports for DLA cards. Matrix infrastructure orchestration does not

support labeling two ports of the same DLA DIO card.
