Delay for PID
Every time a correction based on a table pick is made to the analog output, any further action is delayed
by the programmed amount. This feature is needed when long delays in the mechanical system cause
the closed loop control to “over react.” Program this variable from 00 to 600 seconds.

PID mode.

Kick for PID
The kick is used in systems where the fluid regulator closes the flow before 4 mA’s output. Often this is a
sign of a poorly matched system or of a large hysteresis in the regulator. The kick takes effect if:
rate is less than cutoff
analog output is less than the kick value (this is measured on top of the offset value)
set value is active (greater than 0)
The kick value is generally a number from 0 to 4095. The number reflects the amount of analog step that
is added to the mA Offset. Each analog step represents approximately .004 mA’s. Equation is:
20mA ‐mA Offset
4095
The Kick Value is added to the mA Out Offset value.
USED IN:
PID mode.
