Connecting the PDM to the Vehicle's Battery
The PDM connects via the red and black cables to the
positive and negative terminals of the battery. The red cable
connects to the positive terminal through a fuse block. The
fuse block should be located as close to the power
connection point as possible. The blue cable connects to the
ignition run circuit to provide ignition sense to the PDM. See
Figure 117
on page 189.

NOTE
If the ignition sense feature is not used, the blue cable should be
connected to the same point as the red cable.
