Mounting the TLP 350MV

1.

Use the Extron removal tool to

remove the bezel

from the TLP 350MV (see page 5).

Extron recommends using a Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply. Connect a
network switch to the “LAN-In” port of the power supply. Run a second network cable
from the “Power + LAN-Out” port to the TLP 350MV. Leave enough slack in the cable to
connect it to the back of the TLP 350MV.

Run video cables, with two BNC connectors, to the TLP 350MV. Leave enough slack in
the cables to connect them to the back of the TLP 350MV.

3.

Plug the cables into the rear panel connectors of the TLP 350MV.

Extron recommends using PoE to provide power to the unit. Connect the LAN port
to the “Pwr/LAN Out” port on the PoE power supply. If you are using an external
12 VDC, 1.0 A power supply, connect this port directly to a network switch.

Connect an S-video or composite video source to the unit, using these two BNC
connectors:

For S-video, connect the Y (luminance) signal to the VID/Y input and the C
(chrominance) signal to the C input.

For composite video, connect the input to the VID/Y input.

c.

Extron recommends using PoE to provide power to the unit. If you wish to use
an external 12 VDC, 1.0 A power supply, connect it to this 2-pole captive screw
connector.

Push excess cables into the wall cavity and fit the TLP 350MV into the hole.
