Canceling the Chord
Intelligence Function
The Chord Intelligence function (p. 68) is the function in
Automatic Accompaniment that instantly recognizes the
accompaniment chord that is to be played, merely when you
press the key specifying the chord (the root). Although the
Chord Intelligence function is normally turned on when you
press the One Touch Program [Arranger] button and have
Automatic Accompaniment play, you can turn off the Chord
Intelligence function in the following screen.
1.
Press the One Touch Program [Arranger] button
to display the Basic screen.
2.
At the Basic screen, touch
bottom right of the screen.
3.
Touch
screen appear in the display.

Indication
Description
ON
The Chord Intelligence function can be used.
OFF
The Chord Intelligence function cannot be used.
You have to finger all the keys to specify the
chord.

Keeping the Same Tone and
Tempo When the Music Style
Changes
Normally, when you select a Music Style, the default setting
has the tone in the right hand and the tempo selected
automatically. This setting prevents the tempo and tone from
changing, even when the Music Style is changed.
All items are set to ON when you turn on the power.

Press the One Touch Program [Arranger] button
to display the Basic screen.
2.
At the Basic screen, touch
bottom right of the screen.
3.
Touch
like the one shown below.

Touch the icons to switch On/Off.
This feature is on when the icon has a white background,
and off when the background is black.
Indication
Description
Suitable Tone
The suitable tone for a Music Style will be
selected automatically.
Suitable Tempo
The suitable tempo for a Music Style will
be selected automatically.
Other Setting
Other settings (Style Orchestrator settings,
Phrase, etc.) are changed automatically.
The parameters that are turned off do not change, even
when the Music Style is changed.

Assigning Functions to Pedals
You can assign a variety of different functions to the soft
pedal and the sostenuto pedal.
You can then call up the assigned feature simply by pressing
the corresponding pedal.

to display the Basic screen.

At the Basic screen, touch
bottom right of the screen.
