Place

your

fingers

under

the

front

and

back

of

the

top

of

the

air

baffle;

then,

lift

the

air

baffle

out

of

the

server.

Attention:

For

proper

cooling

and

airflow,

replace

all

air

baffles

before

you

turn

on

the

server.

Operating

the

server

with

any

air

baffle

removed

might

damage

server

components.

Installing

The

following

illustration

shows

how

to

install

the

DIMM

air

baffle.

PCI

To

install

the

DIMM

air

baffle,

complete

the

following

steps:

1.

Read

the

safety

information

that

begins

on

page

and

“Installation

Make

sure

that

the

server

and

peripheral

devices

are

turned

off

(see

that

all

power

cords

and

external

cables

are

disconnected.

3.

Remove

the

cover

(see

with

and

the

back

fans.

Lower

the

air

baffle

into

place,

making

sure

all

cables

are

out
