There

are

two

types

of

checkpoint

codes:

field

programmable

gate

array

(FPGA)

hardware

checkpoint

codes

and

UEFI

checkpoint

codes.

The

UEFI

checkpoint

codes

might

change

because

of

code

sequence

and

timing

changes

or

when

the

server

firmware

is

updated.

Reset

button:

Press

this

button

to

reset

the

server

and

run

the

power-on

self-test

(POST).

You

might

have

to

use

a

pen

or

the

end

of

a

straightened

paper

clip

to

press

the

button.

The

reset

button

is

in

the

lower

right-hand

corner

of

the

diagnostics

panel.

Description

Action

Use

the

Setup

utility

to

check

the

system-event

log

for

information

about

the

error.

OVER

SPEC

The

server

was

shut

down

due

to

a

power-supply

overload

condition

on

one

of

the

power

channels.

The

power

supplies

are

using

more

power

than

the

maximum

rating.

any

of

the

12v

power

channel

error

LEDs

(A,

B,

C,

D,

E,

or

AUX)

on

the

system

board

are

lit

also,

see

“Power

on

failed

power

supply.
