Care of the Telephone
• To clean the telephone use a slightly damp cloth or
an antistatic cloth. Never wipe the phone with a dry
cloth!
• If necessary, you may use a diluted mild detergent
(commercially available). After cleaning, thoroughly
remove the detergent using a cloth dampened with
water.
• Do not use alcohol-based detergents or any abra-
sive cleaning products.
Troubleshooting
There is no response when pressing a key:
Make sure the key is not blocked.
The telephone does not ring when receiving a call:
Make sure that the Do Not Disturb feature is activated
for the extension (if it is the display will show: "DO NOT
DISTURB ON"). If the feature is activated, deactivate it

The telephone does not work when dialing an ex-
ternal number:
Make sure your telephone is not blocked (if it is, the dis-
play will show: "LOCK ON"). If it is, unblock it
Æ page 77.
If there are any other problems when operating the
phone:
First, contact your system’s Support Technician. If the
problem is not solved, the Support Technician should
call Technical Support.
