Using Your Phone’s Menus
Messages are broadcast in numbered channels. For example,
channel 050 might be for local weather, traffic reports or stock
market prices. Contact your service provider for a list of available
channels and the information they provide.
When a cell broadcast message is received, your phone displays
the notification
New Info Service Message
.
Press
+
(
Read
) to open the broadcast message. Scroll through
the cell broadcast message from the beginning.
To remove the message from the display, press
+
(
Back
).
Using the Messages Menu
From the idle display, you can access the Messages menu in two
ways:
• Press the Menu Key
M
, scroll to
Messages
, and press
+
(
Select
).
or
• Press
+
(
Message
).
The phone displays the different message menu options. Scroll to
the desired menu option.
Create Message
This option allows you to create or modify text messages.
Note: If the editor was interrupted during editing, that message
is displayed when you select
Create Message
. Press
-
(
Delete
) to delete it character by character, or press and hold
-
(
Delete
) to delete the whole message and start a new one.
