Deleting a File on Disk
Description
Obsolete files can be deleted as an aid to efficient file management.
HOW TO:

Choose DISK OPERATION

Choose the directory containing the file to be deleted. See "Accessing
Directories and Files " page 134.

Enter the filename to be deleted using
or press
, highlight the file to be deleted on the file
manager display, and press
.
The file name can contain up to 12 alphanumeric characters, including
the filename extension.

To delete the file choose
.
A warning "Are you sure you wish to continue" is displayed.
If YES is selected, the file is deleted.
If NO is selected, the operation is aborted.
This prevents accidental deletion of a wanted file.
