Overview
Thank you for choosing the PLANET MAP-3100 / MAP-3120 Wireless Mesh Access Point.
The MAP-3100 / MAP-3120 allows a wireless mesh network to be rapidly deployed with
minimal configuration required by the end user. This user’s guide describes the detailed web
interface configuration options.
1.1 MAP-3100 Variants
Currently, there are two MAP-3100 variants available:
MAP-3100: supports both Layer 2 and Layer 3 operations.
MAP-3120: support Layer 2 operation only.
Throughout the manual, the MAP-3100 will be used to collectively refer to both models.
Where the functionality of the variance, the actual model name will be used.
