6.12.3.3 Analog Setpoint Signal when Using Multiple Cluster Controllers
To implement analog setpoints from the grid operator when using multiple Cluster Controllers, you
can use isolation amplifiers to duplicate the analog current signals. By switching the isolation
amplifiers in series, the analog current signals can be transferred to any number of
Cluster Controllers.

isolation amplifiers (example)
6.12.4 Setpoint via Modbus Client
Requirements:
☐ The Cluster Controller and the Modbus client must be located in the same LAN.
☐ Commissioning of the Cluster Controller must be completed.
In order to receive the grid operator setpoints via a Modbus client, you must configure the Modbus
via the Cluster Controller user interface after completing commissioning (see the Cluster Controller
user manual).
6.12.5 Feedback for Grid Management Service Setpoints
6.12.5.1 Feedback Options
When the Cluster Controller transmits the grid operator setpoints for grid management services to
the inverters in the system, you have the option of giving feedback to the grid operator. The
Cluster Controller provides one digital output and three analog current outputs as response
contacts to which you can connect appropriate devices such as remote terminal units.
