10.2 Activating/Deactivating Devices
In the following cases, you must deactivate devices in Sunny Portal:
• You have removed a device from your PV system
or
• You no longer wish to display a device in Sunny Portal
or
• You would like to replace the device in Sunny Portal by another device (see Section 10.1
"Adding or Replacing Devices", page 81)
The data of the deactivated device is retained in Sunny Portal.
Requirement:
☐ You must have the user role Installer or PV system administrator (see Section 13.1 "Users

4. To activate the device in Sunny Portal, activate the Active checkbox in the Data collection

5. Select [Save].
10.3 Replacing the Sunny Home Manager
Requirements:
☐ The NetID of the PV system must be set in the Sunny Home Manager (see the installation
manual of the Sunny Home Manager).
☐ The new Sunny Home Manager must be connected to the router (see the installation manual of
the Sunny Home Manager).
☐ The new Sunny Home Manager must be supplied with voltage (see the installation manual of
the Sunny Home Manager).
☐ You must have the user role PV system administrator (see Section 13.1 "Users and User
