9.3.12 Setting Measurement and Switching in the
SMA Radio-Controlled Socket
• In the drop-down list Measuring and switching, select the required setting.
Setting Explanation
SMA radio-controlled socket is to
measure and switch (intelligent
power consumption) The load draws electric current via the
SMA radio-controlled socket.
Using the consumption values measured by the
SMA radio-controlled socket, the Sunny Home
Manager "learns" what power the load typically
consumes. This information flows into the load control of
the Sunny Home Manager.
SMA radio-controlled socket is only
to switch, not measure (fixed power
consumption) The load is switched e.g. via a relay which is connected
to the SMA radio-controlled socket.
Using the connected relay, the SMA radio-controlled
socket switches the load only in accordance with the
configuration (time period) and the specifications of the
Sunny Home Manager.
The value that is entered in the load profile in the Power
consumption field is the power consumption factored
in for planning the load control.
