8 Device Settings
8.1 Filtering the Device Overview
You can find individual devices more easily if you filter the device overview.
Requirement:
☐ You must have the user role Standard user, Installer or PV system administrator
(see Section 13.1 "Users and User Rights", page 108).
Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > Device overview in the page and menu selection.
2. Set one or more of the following filters:
3. Select [Refresh]. Tip: you can sort the devices in the device overview in ascending or
descending order by clicking the blue entry in the table header (Device Name,
Serial Number, Product Group, Data Collection).
4. To clear the filter, select [Reset].
8.2 Calling Up the Properties of a Device
The tab with the device properties displays information on each device.
Depending on the device and the device settings, various device properties can be displayed on this
tab.
Requirement:

Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > Device overview in the page and menu selection.

Text field or drop-down
list Explanation
Device name Complete name of the device or parts of the device name
Serial number Complete device serial number or parts of the serial number
Product group Device class sought, e.g. PV inverter,
Sunny Home Manager.
Data collection • All: searches for activated and deactivated devices
• Activated: only searches for activated devices
• Deactivated: only searches for deactivated devices
