12.13 Automatic Calculation of the Predicted Annual Yield
Sunny Portal can display in a table how the predicted annual yield of your PV system is likely to be
distributed throughout the months of a year.
The predicted annual yield of the PV system is calculated from the specific annual yield (kWh/kWp)
at the PV system location multiplied by the PV system power.
You can obtain the specific annual yield for your PV system location from irradiation maps. Local
conditions such as shading of your PV system or the system orientation are not taken into account by
Sunny Portal.
Requirements:
☐ The nominal PV system power must be set (see Section 12.4).
☐ You must have the user role Installer or PV system administrator (see Section 13.1 "Users
Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > PV system properties in the page and menu selection.
2. Select the tab Parameters.
3. Select [Edit].
☑ The menu for setting parameters opens.
4. In the Yield expectations area, enter the specific annual yield in the text field Specific Annual
Yield.
☑ The predicted annual yield is displayed in the field Predicted Annual Yield.
5. To enable configuration of the average expected yield and the monthly distribution on the
Annual comparison page, activate the checkbox The monthly distribution can be
configured in the diagrams.
6. Select [Save].
12.14 Setting the Monthly Distribution of the Predicted Annual Yield
The monthly distribution shows how the predicted annual yield is distributed throughout the months of
the year.
You have the following options:
• Have Sunny Portal suggest the monthly distribution
• Enter the monthly distribution manually
