Chapter 4 Troubleshooting problems
RAID controller BIOS startup information
During startup, the screen that displays RAID controller information varies,
depending on if the K2 Media Client provides the functionality via the SCSI
controller adapter or via the motherboard. To identify, check for the SCSI controller
adapter installed in a PCI slot and visible at the K2 Media Client rear panel.
Startup screen for systems with SCSI controller adapter
If the K2 Media Client has a SCSI controller adapter, the following information
appears on the locally connected VGA monitor during a normal startup of the K2
Media Client. This is a part of the BIOS Power On Self Test (POST) generated by the
SCSI controller adapter.
Startup screen for systems without SCSI controller adapter
If the K2 Media Client does not have a SCSI controller adapter, the following
information appears on the locally connected VGA monitor during a normal startup
of the K2 Media Client. This is a part of the BIOS Power On Self Test (POST)
generated by the SCSI controller adapter.
