Preface
The H3C WX3000E documentation set includes eight configuration guides, which describe the software
features for the H3C WX3000E Series Wireless Switches Switching Engine and guide you through the
software configuration procedures. These configuration guides also provide configuration examples to
help you apply software features to different network scenarios.
The Layer 3 Configuration Guide describes the configurations of basic Layer 3 IPv4/IPv6 technologies,
including IP addressing, ARP, DNS, DHCP, IP performance optimization, UDP Helper, static routing, RIP,
and RIPng.

Braces enclose a set of required syntax choices separated by vertical bars, from which
you select one.

Square brackets enclose a set of optional syntax choices separated by vertical bars, from
which you select one or none.
