syslog
Use the syslog commands to configure the device to send traffic and event messages to up to
four syslog hosts, or to display the current syslog configuration.
[NOTE]
The syslog host must be enabled before you can enable syslog.
Syntax
Keywords and Variables
config
set syslog config { ip address or host name} { ... }
unset syslog config [ hostname | ip_addr ]
config
Defines the configuration settings for the syslog utility. The { hostname | ip_addr }
parameters define the name or the IP address of the syslog host device. You can define up to
four syslog hosts. Specifying an IP address or name with the unset syslog config command
removes the configuration for the specified syslog host.
