Example
The following command would change the previous example to use fixed ports.
set interface eth0 dip 10 2.1.10.2 2.1.10.36 fix-port
gateway
set interface interface gateway ip_addr [ no-default-route
]
gateway
The IP address for the default gateway to which the device forwards packets that are destined
for networks beyond the immediate subnet of the specified interface. The no-default-route
switch specifies that there is no default route for this gateway.
Example
The following command specifies the IP address of a remote gateway peer (1.1.10.10) for the
ethernet1 interface:
set interface eth1 gateway 1.1.10.10
ip
set interface interface ip
unset interface interface ip
ip
The IP address ip and netmask mask for the specified interface or subinterface.
Example
The following commands create logical interface eth0.2, bind it to the Trust zone, and assign it IP
address 10.1.1.23/24:
set interface eth0.2 zone trust
set interface eth0.2 ip 10.1.1.23/24
