alert
set policy { . . .} permit [alert alert-name [alert-name] [alert-
name]]
alert
Specifies the conditions that should cause an alert for this policy. Each policy can have one of
each type of alert. When specifying multiple alerts, they must be specified in the following
order: connection rate, aggregate bandwidth and connection bandwidth.
Examples
The following command creates a policy that generates an alert when the bandwidth of all
connections exceeds a certain level. The ab1 alert must be already constructed before you use
the following command:
set policy from trust to untrust any any any alert ab1
The following command creates a policy that generates an alert if the number of connections
is exceeded or if the aggregate bandwidth of the connections exceeds some level:
set policy from trust to untrust any any any alert cr1 ab1

get policy all
