Sets the line spacing to [ n × vertical or horizontal motion unit] inches.
The line spacing can be set independently in standard mode and in page mode.
The horizontal and vertical motion units are specified by GS P. Changing the
horizontal or vertical motion unit does not affect the current line spacing.
In standard mode, the vertical motion unit (y) is used.
In page mode, this command functions as follows, depending on the starting position
and direction of the printable area:
- When the starting position is set to the upper left or lower right of the
printable area with ESC T, the vertical motion unit (y) is used.
-
When the starting position is set to the upper right or lower left of the print
able area with ESC T, the horizontal motion unit (x) is used.
The maximum paper feed amount is 600 mm (23.6 inches) for 300 DPI printer and
900mm (35.4 inches) for 203 DPI printer. If a paper feed amount of more than 600 mm
(300DPI) or 900mm (203DPI) is set, the printer feeds the paper only 600mm (300DPI)
or 900mm (203DPI).
Line spacing is equivalent to approximately 4.23mm (1/6 inches).
